help!!!

went fishing in the pine today using nuke chook in the 3''. never cought on plastics before. drifted across the front of alot of mangrives casting into fishy looking spots. goot lots of bites but no hookup s.

any tips on what i can do to increase my hookups? any ideas shat these fish were. lost alot of tails/chinks of the fish

Puffer fish? Persistance is the key, you can also try a nice long and well presented strip of squid but used in the same way with some splitshot if need to weigh it down/cast etc, deadly fishing compared to plastics....oops i may have said too much
