NC - I think would be lighter and faster as well as more fuel efficient, but is also smaller and more expensive than the GB.

Am I on the right track?
Yeah I have been looking at some US cats (Glacier, Worldkat, Prokat etc) but gee they have small decks for the size of boat. The yanks love all the trinkets with a big cab, and the oversize bit makes it a bit offputting. Very attractive when you work out the $$$ but I still think a NC may be better.

Cats usually go better when you are going fast but watch out you might have an upside down boat hehe i love the stability of the stabi craft cant go past it.
I too have heard that cats end up upside down !!!! why is this ? not trying to put shit on them but would like to know what type of conditions show up their bad points .

That is exactly my problem.....GB2670 $90k landed in BNE vs $150k for a NC2300.

Now maybe the NC2300 is better, but $60k better????

I reckon as a general rule, ANY boat that has a lot of water inside is not all that flash, be it a canoe, a poly, a cat, a tri or a tugboat, water is supposed to be OUTSIDE!

I'd go mono every day after about 34 foot, once mono's get to 7 odd tonnes and have twin engines far enough apart there very appealing!

OK , I can't post a link to a thread on another site . That's cool , where all the pound marks are just put in, aluminum alloy boats , with out the spaces.

I would just post the pictures but it would take me about 2 days with my dialup connection .
