    departing MS Windows

Over the last couple of weeks I have been trying out Ubuntu V7.10 (Linux) as my operating system. I am very impressed with it and thought I would put a post on here about it.

Firstly, I am so impressed I won't be running WindowsXP very often again. The free download comes inclusive of everything you need in a home office.

You don't need to be a gun computer wiz to use it. It is very straight forward and heaps of help available on the net. I actually think it is far better for people not so computer literate. It looks and runs great. No more slow start ups and shut downs. No freezing or stalling. No error messages.

A big pro for me is; I use WindowsXP all day at work and having something different at home is a really nice change. Doesn't feel like work at home now.
