Portable hot water systems at supercheap

Was in at supercheap the other day and noticed that they had a red rip off version of the 2nd gen primus hot water system (coleman style) for $150. I am going to pick one up tomorrow. Has anyone else had any dealing with this unit?

if its the unit I think it is I was told it has the guts out of the Colman first gen HW system that played up a bit, apparently Colman fixed a few probs and palmed off all the old stock???? was told this by a rep when they replaced my Colman gen 1 with a gen 2.

$150 is 1/2 price of the Colman which I love prob worth a try but you get what you pay for

Colman were excellent with the probs I did have to start of with, now no more probs with the new unit

Cheers. Had a look today, pretty crappy but I guess at that price you cant complain. One thing I did notice is that on the box it states 20degC above ambient. Reading the manual for the coleman suggests it heats to about 50degC with overtemp cutout at about 70degC. The supercheap one also lacks an internal battery and requires 12V from the car. Needless to say, i decided to pass this time. When and if I think I will make use of one I will probably go for the coleman.
