    Sounds fantastic DBL.
After all the dealer drama, you must be a happy man indeed to have the boat on the water and be achieving performance figures like that.
What size is the boat and motor?
and did you get a photo or 2?

is the Dealer happy with the 5,300RPM WOT? it seems just a tad too low, but it may be OK, next size down prop and up to about 5,700 MIGHT be a better match?

Noel,I think you will find that these motors have a recommended RPM range of between 4500-5500 so in fact DBL's setup is near the upper end of that range.

    Awesome DBL....

Actually I am only 3 weeks from getting my 509. I have a 90 Honda on mine so I will interested to compare the performance of the two boats....

Looking forward to your pics too....

Glad to here it performed well in the rough - mine will be most;y offshore and through the Rip in PPB, Vic. which is one of the reasons i bought a Stabi...

    Hi def-69.
Just out of interest, did you look at any other Stabi-style boats from other manufacturers, such as Typhoon, Aztec, Oceancraft etc etc?
What was the factor which made you go for Stabi?
Cheers, and congrats on your new boat to be!
