    Hinterland creeks

Got my first wild bass in a GC hinterland creek this arvo. Inspired by Geoff 72 and his lunchtime bass post , i was waiting for my son in his karate lesson and thought I'd leave for a while and try the local creek. I drove just 1min down the road and found a nice pool and cast out a popper and scored my first wild bass. Great feeling and surroundings and a nice change from my local stocked dam.

    Re: Hinterland creeks

    That's a decent wild Bass.
I had a quick flick once in a small stream around the Eltham/Clunes/Tevan area between Ballina and Lismore nth NSW. I got a good hit and hooked up briefly before god knows what threw the lure. Could it have been a Bass? Any one got an idea of whatelse it may have been?

    Cheers, Andrew

    Re: Hinterland creeks

Great stuff. Many folks often don't realise the fish that can be caught in small waters at times.

    Well done,
