After hearing all the reports of fish that get caught in the Coomera area, myself and Ausfish member On-Th-Chew have started to fish this loaction more regulary. So finally after two small Jacks measuring 28cm and 33cm I managed to snare myself a legal one of 36cm, not real big I know but the next step is forty then 45 and who knows maybe 50cm. He was caught on a live Herring at low tide on sunset.

Well done Mark, one day I will actually land one and stop losing them. Still its a PB now you have your first legal one now you have to get one bigger.

cracker of a jack mate. gud to get one with out bustin off. water seems to be warmin up donw the coomera which shud see them come in more number shortly.
