Do u think 24kg mono may to be too heavy for trolling?
DO u think heavier mono(24kg) destroys lure action while trolling?
Do you think fish get spooked when they see heavier line?
What brand 24kg mono line do you use and why?
Is schneider 55lb mono OK for trolling or is it too thick?
What is a good thin diameter 24kg line for this setup (TY30, LF 15-24kg and trolling)??
PS - I have a T-Curve 15-24kg rod for trolling.

This is personal preference but my favourite mono is Platypus Super 100 or Platypus Platinum, these are very thing diameter lines and are quite cheap. I have heard that Saltwater Hard Mono is thinner then the 2 above but is quite expensive and i havn't found anywhere that sells it.

Not really sure, depends what your targeting. What will u be targeting, for allround use i'd probly go 40 or 50lb
spanish mack, tuna, cobia, possible sailfish
8 kg or 15 if your new to it all. 24kg is rediculously heavy for ther species you mentioned unless its cobes around structure. We catch all those species on 4 and 6 kg with out to many dramas. 8kg is nice and comfortable and 15 leaves alot of room for error.
Yes heavier line kills lure action and will get less bites.
What brand line and max dia. line is recommended then?

In regards to line size it depends greatly on what area you are trolling and what size fish you would expect to find.
If you are targeting spaniards it would be wise to have some heavy multistrand wire at hand (for leaders), after you loose a few lures you will see why.
I am no pro but a mate who used to do a lot of trolling in moreton bay and outside of moreton/stradbroke island said that 30lb inside the bay and 40 - 60lb outside (started with 40lb and went up when he got smoked) were his standards.
Obviously the bigger the line the less likely the fish are too take the lure but its no good hooking a fish you cant land. If you tie your lures with a suitable loop knot this helps the lure move more freely.
15kg is a pretty good alround B/S for trolling up pelagics off SEQ unless fishing very wide. I have been using Penn 10X and it lasts well

I am with jeff - all my TLds have 8kg loaded each summer for those species. Get a lot of 8kg line on a TLD 25

No more than 15kg for the fish on your list Splash ...... & even 10kg with a little more experience
24 kg is just too heavy .... & will spoil the fun if you do hook a Sailfish!
A mate has just spooled his game reels with Platypus Lo stretch mono ..... & after fishing Port Stephens for 2 weeks commented on the improvement in the hookset ( 3 black marlin , 1 striped marlin & over 40 large Mahi Mahi ..... during the trip )

The 24kg would be good to stop your fish getting sharked but try 15kg and if you start getting sharked then go up. If you're using larger lures such as halco scorpions and such, then 24kg won't affect their action as they're a lure thats built to be used in conjunction with heavy leaders/wire and targeting big fish!
I use schneider mono in 55lb but thats off the rocks and purely for abrasion resistance

I have listened to you guys and decided to go down to 15kg line (was 24kg).
Anyway, I see Plty Lo Strech i sfavoured but hwo does the Super100 comapre to the Lo Stretch? And, what about Stren Hi Vis Gold?
