Took my kayak to my secret spot this arvo about midday.First 2 casts produced 2 nice bass about 40 some thing.4th cast and mylure is eaten right next to the yak no3 landed and released.Top fishing i thought to myself as i was reeling in another cast and crunch lots of zeds coming from the reel .Just managed to pull him up short of his home and a while later boated my seccond biggest bass 51cm.Went on to catch 13 in total before they stopped biting at 300pm. Hi Ben, There some great Bass your getting.
That lure looks like a titanium VIB, I have one it's a bit lighter that most others but worked well. I had to change hooks though as the ones that came with it straightend on a 40cm Bass. I think I know where you are, but don't worry i work to many hours to go their.

nice bass blooey. Can i ask, is your camera waterproof or is it conyained in a seperate casing? That underwater shot is spectacular! also, can i ask what brand of kayak do you use and how do you rate it? am looking at buying a kayak and love to hear non-sales reps oppinions of yaks.

Dav,I'ts a waterproof camera mate.Pentax optio w20.Only 3x optical zoom though.I've got a cheapie kayak compared to others its an extreme kayak,not very fast but stable and it doesn't matter if i bash it around a fair bit.(which i do) Ben

Good pics mate. nice bass. Good to see the tungsten vibes producing the goods. I have a lot of trouble getting any sort of action out of mine, unless I really rip the rod tip up to get the vibe going. At least I know they work now.
great photos. nice looking fish too! they seem to have good condition for wild fish. healthy populations and good water i guess.
