    cruisecraft rambler??

just brought myself a cruisecraft, older model with a 200yamaha saltwater series

i think the hull is a rambler 6.1mtr

Brought it off a mate who up sized to a 34ft

never been in the cruisecraft and would like some honest input as to their sea going capabiliites

looks like a nice dry soft riding boat with the deep v hull..but i have head all the
sledinging such as "cruise crash" etc

he loved the crusiecraft as a fishing boat..just wondering what others think

They are a good old thing, tender at rest, i dont think they are 6.1 i would have thought 5.5 they have the same hull as a reef ranger but different topsides.

    Re: cruisecraft rambler??

    Hi MONTAGUE
Purchased a cruise craft at the boat show in the 80s Harry Noble Marine .
powered by 115hp evinrude , we fished Tempest & barwon banks a lot
This boat was a excellent fishing boat, especially at rest ,went well in a following sea,a excellent camping storing plenty gear.
Only gripe we had was comming home in 15kt south eastly against the tide in morton bay.
With a 200hp i would be checking the transom for dry rot, just a precaution.
    Happy boating
