Just spotted one in an anaconda catalogue, 40litre for $775 making it the cheapest compressor fridge I have seen yet.

Just interested to see if anyone has one and if they are any good. I cant find any specs on the net which makes me a tad suspicious.

Well I had a quote from recreational refridgeration for a CF50, so I went out there yesterday (Saturday) to buy one. Got out there and they were closed, turns out they have not updated their website since they decided not trade on Saturdays.
Anyhow, went out to anaconda, asked one of the staff if they could match the price. I would have been happy if they came close, as I did not want to spend 40 mintues driving to underwood and another 40 driving back. Assuming that a courier would probably cost about $30, i would have copped that in the anaconda price. But, the guy ummed and ahhed for a bit, went off to see his boss, came back and said they would match the price. Done, I bought the fridge. I have bought gear from them before, and never had a problem. Even had to do an exchange once when I was going out to go hiking, no problem at all, all fixed in 20 minutes. Needless to say, these guys will be getting my service in the future.
BTW, if blatant plugs are not allowed here please let me know and I will cease
