Noticed a post from Robersl the other day looking for boat to jump on today. By sheer coincidence I was thinking of building on my very limited knowledge of Donnybrook and who better to ask than Shane. So a couple quick PM's saw us on the water just after sun-up today. Initial plan was to chase crabs early then fish a few spots later in the day. That was sorta the case till the crabs decided not to play the game. Wasn't long before crabbing became secondary and we started to fish in earnest. Shane had a nice supply of freshly dug worms which we supplemented with a bucket of yabbies. Fishing was steady from the word go with a regular supply of just undersize sweetlip and some small as well as keeper bream. Got a very nice tarwhine also. When the tide got to where Shane wanted it we went off chasing whiting. Got a nice feed of them also.
Thank Shane for the company and sharing a few Donnybrook spots with me![]()
