Mooloolaba rock wall?

Been reading some older posts about people getting busted up off the Mooloolaba rock wall. Was it ever resolved what it was?

Is anywhere on the rock wall the go?

a mate of mine has snorkelled along there, amazingly no one hooked him!! he did see flashes of red at the limit of vis. zooming back into the rocks..........

Is the go anywhere along the wall, or somewhere in particular?

I was up there inspecting the rock armour on the wall with work a few months back. In the 15 min I was there 2 guys at the end of the inside wall picked up some average sized sweetlip and a couple of trevally.

Worth a shot I would suggest.

Port side as you are heading out the passage

along the seaward wall IRMC000 but alas don't know whether in the channel or on the other side.
