wanting some advice on buying a dual cab 4wd drive i've got a budget for about 10k i know thats not much but i am hoping too get something for that sorta money can anyone help me out as far what model too and touch maybe what model not too touch i do want too take it too frazer.an bribie and places like that but nothing too hard core 4wd driving thanks in advance
I had a 92mod rodeo petrol 2.6 injected.
Could not fault it as long as you adjusted your tappets every 15k.
Mine had a lsd which made it a capable 4b with 31" tyres i didnt even need to let my tyres down.
Much to my regret i sold it 3 years ago for 8.5k
the hilux is also a good rig but you wont get the same year models as the others for that price.
From what I'm lead to believe the petrol mazda bravo/ford use a fair bit of fuel.
so my vote is for the rodeo either petrol or the T Diesel
If you can get a navara make sure its turbo diesel, actually that goes for just about anything. Make sure the gear box is ok put it in 2nd and drive until it almost stalls. if it jumps out of gear the box is about stuffed.
