Today is the big day! Can't wait. We are heading up there around 1:30ish i think. Should be great. Starting to realise how much gear you have to take for a 2 night trip! That reminds me...i better pack my championship ping pong bat

After packing yesterday for two nights camping I said to the missus that I had packed almost everything we took for our trip to Cape York . Two days or two months - the only difference is the amount of food and water that you carry.

    I'M BACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK???????????

    Hi all

Well what a week!!!!!. With all the stuffing around and not being able to make it to my nans funeral I am well and truly over things. Thank the stars I have two weeks off to get things back to normal-- well as normal as they will get.

Bill and I are heading over Saturday morning--- and Guys the rocky road is on board; along with chicken in plum sauce, chilli chicken wings, pizza bites and cheesecake.

Have paper plates so you guys don't need to wash up, bread and maybe a few other things as well.

Have been looking forward to this weekend since I first heard about it. Number 1 son will be there tonight camped on site 11 with his girlfriend. We will be bringing number 2 son with us tomorrow-- depending of course whether he has a big night tonight. I think there might be a couple of Claytons kids as well ( the ones you have without actually having them) but they are providing for themselves.

Campsite 10 is still available if anyone needs it.

The only thing i need to worry about now is the bloody wind and hope the girl runs ok. We haven't had her out since i fitted the filter etc so keep everything crossed?????

See you all there tomorrow. Make sure that kettle is on for me CUPPA!!!!!

    Ronnie

There is no chance of me making it up tomorrow now.

I have been stuffed around with some family and so on, so now won't make it up there at least to camp anyway.

I'm booked for a site tonight and Saturday night, so if anyone wants a site, let me know and i'll pass on the details. I'm only booked in for 1 person on the site though.
