    100 series V8 4.7

Any body got one?I,m looking into one at the moment a 04'model 5 speed auto and just wanting to know ball park fuel figures. When i get it i'll be converting to gas for about $1300 out of my pocket expense after the $2000 rebate i just can't seem to justify the extra $10000+ for a turbo diesel so it seem's the cheaper way out.Cheers Dan........

Towing a bigger boat they are atrocious on the fuel at anything over 90 kph. But they will tow fast if you want to and can afford it.

We recently got a 685 outsider from Brisbane to Maryborough for both tanks empty. I'd guess 330 kms for 130 odd litres?

After that we slowed back to 90 odd kph and used heaps less.

Awesome truck but - towed 3 plus tonne easily.

Jesus Dan! what do you take me for I wouldn't do anything like that to a car

Next time I am done looking through the gap in your bedroom curtains I will leave the fishhead on the sill.

Acctually Spaniard i don't think that the 100 will drop much at all if any cos a good 80 series with the lot burger with 150,000 k's is still pulling the best part of 20k belive it or not.Cheers Dan.........

And the reason !!!!!!!!!!!!! Well THE 80 SERIES HAS 20 LESS PROBLEMS THAN THE 100 SERIES !!! Imagine what the 200 series problems will be!!
