Going to Borumba

Going to Borumba Dam this weekend,can anyone tell me how its been fishing.

Haven't been for a few weekends mate. I was at Monduran last weekend before last weekend.

I must be due for a trip .

I have never found Borumba to be abundant , but I usually pick up something. It is one of the few places with plenty of Water.

barra and basstastic is on there this weekend. are you fishing it???? the fishing has been pretty good there ans has fished that way pretty well all year round. if your not fishing in the comp i would suggest to stay away as the fish shut down pretty hard there when they want to.

Fished there on the weekend.
We got 61 fish between the 2 boats.
good yella's to 51cm an the biggest bass went a fat 49cm.
We got most fish dropping jackalls down the face of the steep rocky banks.
Quite a few on the troll.
Best lures were TN60 Jackall in banana until I lost it to a snag and white kokoda g-vibes took their fair share.

I didnt know there was a comp on, Im not realy in to crowds. Ill definitly try your techniques Keepitreel. How did u go at Monduran Darylive? Has anyone been fly fishing at borumba? Id love to catch a toga.

What was the water temp, the toga really fire up in the high 20's. 1 exam down 3 more to go and then i'm keen to hit some water and borumba is on the short list.
