Hey mate, what have you found to be the best way to work plastics for the cobes? I'm pretty keen to nail one (as soon as the wind pisses off that is) so any help would really be appreciated.

Most of the Cobes were caught when the plastic was free spooling. Just keep an eye on the spool as the plastic takes line and when it increases speed drop the bail arm and you are on (never take your eye off the spool)! If the plastic didnt get nailed on the drop I would wind it back up slowly with a bit of action and usually get a hit on the way up.

Thanks for that. I was also wondering what sort of structure you find they hang around most ie pinnacles, big drop offs or do you just find bait?

Cobes are suckers for wrecks. If u have any wreck marks give them a try.
