Breamnut. Try downsizing your leader and throwing more natural patterns in the clear stuff. Try and stick with something silver and shiny even translucent lures work well. othet than that fish in the dark.

tried that! ive tried everything from jackals to lively lures on 20lb right through to bassday and sx-40's on 4lb!

Not bad on the photo shop, but who's that black fella with the pink nails and white face you are fishing with. Can't believe you left me at home for this sesh.
As for all the recent banter going on with our mates (you know who now gents) I'll take it as all just freindly banter and a little ribbing. But that still doesn't mean I'm going to up my leader cuase we're gonna crack the 60cm mark on 16lb leader and post the pics and rub it in when we do so just be ready.
After all it is what you said you couldn't wait to see.......isn't it??
Thanks for all the replies fellas. We do enjoy our fishing and are quite lucky to be putting Jacks in the boat.
All the gear I'm using are a mix of 2000 and 3000 Sol's fished on ATC sticks as well as my recently aquired Zillion fished on a Loomis Crankbait (AKA the broomstick).
A little heavy for what I like but with a view to move up North this month it's a great buy.
Lures that get the most runs are Smith Cherry Bloods,Livley lures and my Jack fell for a Mad mullet in Grey ghost worked deep.
Hit it again this morning and landed about 8 cod and dropped 3 Jacks, only pups tho. Water temp is consistently up over 26.5 degrees now so the action is hot so go and get into em fellas.
Thanks for the replies and although Nick thinks he's an artist it's all just games in the end so have a laugh and don't take anything personal. We are like this on the water as well. Cheers,
