Heading up to Rainbow Beach from Brisbane next thursday for a bit of fishin.
Does anyone know what the access is like across Double Island?
We usually head to Noosa, then up Teewah beach from there, but this time aren't sure how washed out it is. The last time we ventured up there we got through, but had to drive throught some water on the Rainbow side.
Thanks in advance for any info you may have to share!
6 weeks ago you could get through on dead low tide if you were prepared to do some rock hopping and drive through the salt water a bit. swell was about 1/2 metere
