My friend and i where planning on a deep sea fishing trip but then the NE blew up so we changed our plans and just went for a muck around in the harbour to see what we could get and didn't do to well but here are some photo's anyway
Flathead 35cm
Eel 75cm
Rock Cod 35cm
Whiting 32cm
Bream 25cm
My friend kept the flathead.
And I ate the Rocky for dinner and let the Eel go

Its a Rock Cod all you have to do is chop the head off and cook it on the BBQ.

yeh those scorpion cod are worth effort to clean. whitest meat of any fish i rekon.
sounds like a nice little muck around session anyway

Red Rock Cod are good eating but dont ever get spiked by them. I was in pain for a couple of weeks, the spiked area was numb for the first week as well as painful.
