moct obvious spots are the deep hole just on the west side of the highway bridge and deep water bend.

I fish the pine with live prawns for big summer whiting december thru to february. I caught two bait prawns in a cast on sinday tho and spooked a good school of bait prawns on a drift as well.

Start looking for the prawns after Christmas, although a decent bit of rain can flush them out a bit earlier. They are basically where you find them so try many different spots until you hit a patch. The deep hole by the freeway, castle hill corner, the sunken barge and the stinky wall all produce at times
