I have 11 Trion rods (several different models) and have flogged them to death for around 4 years, in this time, I have broken 5 rods, 4 in one go in the car door :-( and the other one I stood on :-(, its hard to imagine a bad batch in these rods, mine have performed extremely well and for the price, they are very hard to beat :-). In saying that, in the same time frame, I have broken two Loomis rods, one live fibre, one Strudwick and a Pflueger Medalist, so i figure I am just to rough on my gear :-)
