Just bought mydelf a pack of Gulp Jerk shad in 5 inches blue pepper neon, and a pack of TT Jig heads. My question is on the lure there is a open slit that runs along the lure. Is this the top or bottom of lure and i am pressuming that the hook should be protuding out from some where along this slit??

Hey JEWIENEWIE,
The split is the bottom of the gulp jerkshad so you put the jighead oppisite to that slit hope this helps and good luck with em!!!

so if that is the bottom do i want the hook to come out of the top of the placcy and not out of the slit.
So i insert the hook in the nose of the placcy push it up and the hook to pertrude out of the top of the placcy not out of the slit. If i have this right what is the slit there for, Action?

yes, the slit goes to the bottom, it's helps the placcy's movement through the water coloumn, gives it that sexy action on the drop the fish love so much.
Jewie if your after snapper dont leave home without gulp 4 inch swimming mullet in pumkin seed matched with berkley salt water pro heads in no1 hook in 1/6th oz, they love that placcy above all others ive tried.
