Went for a drive with the young family today to visit one of my all time favourite Bassing holes.
Picture if you will the colour and density of a five year olds snot, thick and very green. That’s what Maroon looks like. Underwater visibility is about 20cm and covers the total 15 Acers of what’s left of dam water.
There was a boat out at 10.30 which pulled a couple nice fish while we were there, so water or not the fish are still biting.
Q; where are they biting you ask?
A; the location of the fish is clearer than the water as there isn’t much of it.
One good rain and that dam will be well and truly worth a fish.
Good fishing
