What's Happening @ Borumba Lately?

Can anyone give me an update of the fishing at Borumba at the moment thanks? Might be heading there this week for a fish. Thanks, Pete

fished there 6th and 7th this month for Toga. Very tough, apparently they are in breeding mode and have a case of lock jaw. Those that know think in a few weeks they might get back on the chew. There's bass in the main basin in usually at the 20ft mark, just look for flats out from some of the points.

hi pete,norm was spot on,fished mini bucks there last weekend and the dam fished ok,not great but got plenty of fish on the flats and points.hopping mask vibes in 18-25ft worked well.be patient and work hard should see you get a few fish,togas should come on the chew more next month,cheers,gav.

Thanks for your comments. Very much appreciated. Not sure where the "flats" are though, as I've only been to Borumba once. Would you might marking the flats on the attached map for me please?

Not sure where the "flats" actually were. But fished the rocky banks and main basin over the week end. Lots of small rat bass caught. Though got my biggest Bass to date on the Saturday arvo trolling a TN70. It went 45cm and nearly snapped the rod in 2 when it hit the lure.

Lots of ski-boat traffic on both days, which may the task a little tricky at times. That plus the gusting wind may for an OK trip.
