    Donnybrook 112

    Hi guys im wondering if you can tell me what the 112's and how i am meant to find them. I know a rough area of where they are but is their any specific landmarks where they are? Also what are the usuall species and what bait is best?

    To the best of my knowledge the 112's is near the first red marker north of poverty creek or if coming from Donnybrook it would be the second red marker south. Hope this helps.

    Yeah as Dobie65 suggests. 112 is an old oyster lease and it runs from about 150m north of poverty creek up the passage for about 600-700m roughly. Be aware that it is fully exposed at low tide and should not be motored over. The main channel runs immediately along its western edge and it has a very good drop off that holds lots of bait and fish.
    I have had best results there with livebaits caught there esp large hardiheads. Species are basically anything you would find elsewhere in the passage plus schoolies and spotties occasionally.
