Taken delivery of our new camper

Finally got our new camper on Monday, has been on order since May this year.

Cub Camper Escape, Transcontinental pack (heavier axle, subframe, extended drawbar, springs), Electric Brakes, Deluxe Kitchen, Slide Out pantry, Galv chassis, 12v transformer, Outboard bracket, boat rollers and few other extras.

Now to get it to Qld to make a boat loader. Mate is welder and we (he) is going to do the job.

Have to make it a bit easy to carry boat, outboard, 15 Yamaha, plus 55lb Minn Kota bow mount.

Folding bulldog trailer and mount will be on extended drawbar, also jerry can holder and boat tank holder. ( To be installed soon)

Shano you asked for a couple of photos of new camper and are attached.

When we get the loader completed will post some more. Could be a couple of months and a bit of holidays are on the cards. Also have to wait for all clear from back op before I can start fishing again.

Yes a few months with new rig in QLD fishing the impoundments next year.

Should be March April May. Plus a few later in the year to catch up for this year.

    Regards Trev

Another shot of camper with boat loaded. Only back rollers on at this time. But will be heaps easier with the boat loader.

Plenty of room on extended drawbar. Currently have brackets for Outboard, Boat Trailer (Folding bulldog), Winch to raise and lower camper.
Will be installing a bracket and stand for Minn Kota AP55, as well as Jerry can holder and fuel tank holder.

Annex is roof and side wall near kitchen, have had the full annex before, but fishing mostly up north found that the full annex was more hassle than worth.

Tend to use shadecloth for the other two walls if needed, Just with cable ties.

All starting to come together, this is my fourth camper trailer, plus a couple of caravans and a poptop along the way.

Just a couple more shots of the camper trailer with boat loader fitted.

On drawbar is Bulldog folding trailer, mount for the Outboard and to be fitted is mount for electric Minn Kota.

All coming together and off fishing the impoundments in Qld in a month or so.

Great looking rig, hope the draw bar is sufficiently reinforced to carry all that weight.Had a similar rig & were forced to put significant work into the drawbar to carry the weight

Yep upgraded to Transcontinental Pack with heavier drawbar and suspension. This is our eight camper or caravan and working well, on road at the moment, in Cairns but left boat and trailer at Alva Beach near Ayr.
Just the camper for the northern part of the trip.

Best fish so far 119cm at Monduran, best time fishing with Jas Wilhelms (The Matrix) at Awoonga.

All gear going well and happy with the setup.

    Regards
