Looks like no one has put up a report about this years classic
We fished agian this year but were never in the hunt and not to sure where i finished
The winner with the most Points was Howler (I am not sure of his name Brett hink) and second was Ross Mc Cubbin (sorry bout the spelling if wrong)
Best team was team Atomic ( Mc Cubbin, ? Job snr and ? Job Jnr) second was team Sands
Biggest Flathead went to a guy from Bush & Beach 90cm there was a second fish caught at 90cm who also won a prize
The guy that won Howler fished the same place all 2 1/2 days and trolled the same two lures the whole time
We watched him for a while and fished the same spot and was amazed at the amount of fish he caught , in the first hour on saturday he had caught at least 9 fish while we had one in the same spot with the same lure
Some of the other fish caught were a 1.5 meter Jew, Biggest Cod was 48cm caught by Rob Payne
Biggest Jack went 38 cm i think the rest of the scores are a little blurry as i had a few beers at the end
I did bump into a few ausfishers and seen a few ausfish stickers on boats
So well done to the guys from the club that run it and see you all next year I will be back
