    Im New To Brisbane Area And I Am Wondering If Therer Are Any Good Spots To Go After Launching In At Carbrook Area

    Gday Grant,
    You can try pitt rocks near the gazebo for jack and jewfish, and on the opposite bank (to the rocks) for whiting and flathead. Also use livies at marks rocks near the prawn farm.

    Look at your chart, browns bay is a big bay on stradbroke island accross from mouth of logan river, fish the mouth on last half of runout for flathead, bream, whiting.

    Keep going downstream till you hit the first markers.Good yabbiebanks on both sides ,fish for whiting and all bread and butter fish around the banks ,find the dropoffs around the edges of the small islands for a better fish.that little place holds sole,flatties ,whiting ,bream ,blue salmons ,sharks of all sizes,an occasional squire,cod at times,small perch and most importantly jacks.
