Spot X Finally produces

Hi all well after a few trips to good old spot x with the usual crew Bob,Chris and Shin

got there a bit early and went for a quick popper sesh over some flats to much water for the whiting but I managed a bream 30cm on the yo-zuri 65mm 3D popper
time to move back to the jack spot and just after dark it was Chris's turn to put a jack on the board for the 07/08 season a nice 45cm specimen on 4lbs main and 12lbs leader on a lipless vibration lure the same lure bobby got his on a cpl of weeks back
so im still jackless and starting to get a tad frustrated now cant be long till i get 1 i defiantly dont wanna be 2 behind 1 i can handle

after this we moved on to another spot cpl hundred of meters away where there was alot of surface action a cpl of nights ago and after a cpl of failed hook ups (busted leader knot and spat hooks)on the previous visit we were keen to see what these speedster were didnt take long and I had a solid hook up on a unweighted atomic prong of the surface a big first run then the unmistakable thump thump of a trevor on its side was felt landed the 50cm bigeye trevally and we were all a bit disapointed but id did go hard in the shallow narrow area no pics of the treva its just a stinkin biggie and ive got enough pics of them it was quickly released as with all other fish

nice work there shin. is that lure hanging out the jacks mouth, it is a eco gear vibration lure or something else

went out yest arvo in chris's tinnie around soverign is to see if we couldnt stir up a cpl of fish from the pontoons started out good 2 fish in two casts for chris on the vibration lure a nice fat cod that regurged a digested crab and a pretty little grassie sweetlip i think could be a spangled emperor
then we only had cpl of nudges and I droped fish (spat the hooks) for the next few hrs still no jack
