camping north stradie bradbury's or Amity

Hi guys we looking at going on a camping trip early next year to north stradie somewhere different, so I have narrowed it down to two places amity point camping grounds and bradbury's beach. I have a 3.75m tinnie and will be takeing it i live and breath fishing so the boat will be in the water 24/7 or close to it any suggestion would be appricated

Falcon1, send jez and suze a pm. I'm sure they've stayed there a couple of times. They might have some hints and tips for you.

mate - I havent camped at Amity but it looks good. I usually camp at Flinders beach with the chemical toilets. Fantastic spot with shade.

Hi There!

Just spent 4 nights at the Amity campgrounds. It was great, very clean and good facilities!

We also took our boat over (4.75m tinny) and the the Hubby and my brother had a great time out in the boat.

The weather was not flash - too much wind and to rub it in my Dad and I managed a nice tailor off the rocks just in front of our tent!

We had little kids with us so was advised that Amity (with its facilities) was the better option.

Found the Amity Point Community Centre on the last night (of course ) and had a great meal for a really good price, the shuttle bus was a bonus!

And we bought some seafood from the 1st seafood place on the main street in amity and it was the BEST seafood we have ever had!

Have a great trip where ever you decide to stay!
