Jack did me over

Had a quick flick on the way home from work yest, only managed 3 livies,first one landed a nice 30+ bream,2nd one lost it, but the 3rd was the one,threw out 2 very hard taps,thought thats a bloody big bream or maybe a jack,second guess must have been right,1 massive hit,rod just about ripped out of hands,after about 3 seconds i lost the lot,very peeved off no livies left,was a good weight on the end and hit so hard and fast had to have been a jack i reckon.. No more livies left so threw out a sp,scored 2 flatties,smallest one may have been just legal,got a pic of the bigger one before releasing him.
Fingers crossed by reading some of the reports and feeling that hit,could be a great jack season ahead i hope.

Its very frustrating evey weekend i have been going targeting em i just keep geting snapped off they must be big jacks to cause there is just so much weight to them, when i finaly stop one i reckon it will be in the 60 range any way nice flattie.

Been done over plenty of times myself so far. Mainly due to pulled hooks. Oh, don't worry......I know they are Jacks cause I see the strike before they run back home so I'm getting a really good look at em.

Took me a while to get my first but they come after that; I'm targeting Jacks, Barra and Trevors this Summer - If I don't have to go to Physio after a Summer of those pulling on my arms then I know that I haven't been fishing enough

what water temp. sees them start fireing?.....here in Ballina it takes ages for the temp. to increase as the warm water hits cape byron and goes out to sea.
