Great to see your still nailing some good fish Chong. That whole area has so much potential for great estuary fishing. Jacks, Barra Threadies and Grunter. Just finding them is the hard part

thanks chong, Im very happy to hear about this, as Im building a house in river heads soon, and expect to be moving up there in 6 mths. Youll have to show me the spots one day.....

Well done Chong.
Fished the same area last week thursday through till Saturday, 2 boats for two keepers both grunter 1 @ 43cm and 1 @ 53cm. Plenty of undersize or female muddies and water hyacinth. They must have had some decent rain up there.
Tried out side river Sat am before the wind got up, all for nought. The area looks good and there are plenty of vcreek mouths that I would like to try again. We mainly fished the Susan river and its tributeries.
Came home early Sunday am a little disapointed in the fishing but as they say any days fishing is better than???

Hi Andrew, no problem when you get up here send me a pm and we will catch up on the river.
SS, yeap we had some good rain and heaps of fresh down the river. Fishing has been a bit quite but have a few good spots up the susan and around that have produced good fish before the fresh. Is starting to come good and should expect the blackies, flatties, barra, thredies and crabs to start really firing soon. Think the grunter will still be pushing up river as the salt gets back up, at least you got a couple, good fun to catch.
Cheers
Andrew,
couple of pics for you, all caught in the same area
Cheers,
Chong
