Mate i would suggest you go and buy the lowrance how to use your sounder D.V.D its very informative and cost a little over $20 well worth the money in my opinion ....matt

Was wondering if anyone else here had a Lowrance X52 sounder that they could offer some configuration tips for?
After reading through a few posts here it seems that there would be an art form to getting these things (sounders in general) configured correctly to give the best data.
I get my first boat this weekend which has one of these installed and want to get the best out of it I can, hitting the water running so to speak.
