Thumbs up KEEP IT UNCLUTTERED (Hornet 480) Pt 1

HI FELLOW AUSFISHERS I'm just in the middle of gearing up for our road trip to North Qld in 11 days .... The boat is ready to go & I'm pretty happy with the set up ...That much so , that I thought I might share some photos of what I have done. Over the past 6 months I've tried to find a place for everything .. so I could keep it uncluttered while both travelling & fishing......... Maybe it may be of use to some
Attachment 13617 This is how I keep most of my terminal tackle & some of my SPs/ HBs in place & accessible ..... All other big lures/ SPs , spare reels , life jackets , tourches etc are under the floor
Attachment 13618 There is room for 7 fully rigged rods + 5 or so unrigged ( there are 10 rods ... 7 with reels in the photo) .... No reels will touch any other! ... so no damage
Attachment 13619 ... This is how I keep , my lip gripper , scale , Anchor light , Antenna & Fillet knife (to stop someone from using it to cut bait) ..... all under the rod locker lid! ....... Nagg
    PS .... See Part 2

    G'day Nagg,
great job there mate, looks the goods. When I get a camera that works I'll get some shots of the work one of my students (Mitch qld) has done for his Year 12 design project on my Stessl Edgetracker. He came up with a pretty good storage option for tackle trays that has worked out a treat, it's an underfloor vertical rack it's been excellent. My next decision is rod locker or try and purchase an electric, decisions decisions mmmmm.

    Cheers

    Chris

Couldn't agree more Finga .... I've broken / had broken too many things in boats over the years + I hate having to look for things ... Nagg
