furuno gp-7000fd problems

was just doing a final check over the boat, before heading out in the morning.
everything was fine, except the furuno gp-700f
its a combo unit
the unit powers up, and comes up with a "white" screen.
nothing works from here. tried the troubleshooting methods in the handbook to no avail.

any ideas on whats going wrong?

Maybe it has been caused by that poor effort you showed up at kawana 2 weeks ago whilst TRYING to keep up with me? I wonder if it worked then? Oh thats right you couldnt get out to the spot i was heading could you My poxy apelco combo has actually stopped workin all together after that trip, time for a new plotter for me. Sorry to hear mate, maybe it got wet? My mobile got wet that trip and was white when i turned it on but dried out and is fine now. I know much about electronics so cant really help man.. Good luck with it.
