mercury 30hp efi feedback

Hi guys,

Planning on handing over some hard earned cash on a new outboard. Tossing up between the honda and merc 4 stroke in 30hp

I know the hondas seem to be a decnt engine but has anyone had any exposure to the new 30hp efi merc. Would be interested to hear any thoughts on the merc.

I have a 30hp efi Merc Electric Start, very frugal running, the thing i did like the most was it can be started by hand as well.

I would go with the manufacturer that doesn't make motorcycles, cars or generators.. Just race proven marine engines.. 68 years of it..
