A tiger wrap on a mates rod

A mate asked me to tidy up his old Shimano rod.
So I repainted it, put on some SiC guides and did a tiger wrap.
His criteria was pretty simple...I don't want any of that poofy stuff on it and make it plain and simple....so what do you do??
    Plain and simple it is
Until he gets into the sun that is...I just had to put a couple of sparkles in it
I intend on living for-ever....so far so good

    Looks good bloke.
Those tiger wraps never photograph anywhere near as good as they look in person
I tried one the other day. I used metallic as the underwrap. A bit too reflective in full sun. Loses the moire effect.
    Cheers,
    Owen

Here is my first try at a tiger, the pics do not look anywhere near as good as the real thing.
