    OK - found the FINNS website

    I need soem assistance here.

    for 50lb braid - 0.013"
    mono equivalent - 10

    I calcualte 0.33mm diamter in metric.

    Where did '10' come from - what unit of measure is this?

    Splash the 10 means the diameter is = 10lb mono. So your 30lb braid will be same diameter as 6lb mono.

    thansk Bass - can this same logic ratio be applied across all differnt brands of briad?

    i.e. I hjave referred to both FINNa and Yamatoyo ohere..

    Different brands have different diameters at a given breaking strain but all have the mono poundage equivelent on the box.
