    good one Josh!

when u state u now use the 7ft 15-24kg - which one of these rods is this particular rod:

    GFORCE 600M Overhead 15 - 24 kg
    G FORCE 600H Overhead 24 kg
    G FORCE 700M Overhead 15 - 24 kg
    G FORCE 700H Overhead 24 kg
    G FORCE 800M Overhead 15 - 24 kg
    G FORCE 800H Overhead 24 kg

Why 7ft - why not shorter? I see some people prefer shorter rods for using in boats..

Hi Splash, Penn also do a sport series in a stand up, 10-15kg & 15-24 kg, they are a fast taper, nice tip action, heaps of grunt in the mid section at around $100 could be another alternative to look at. I've got a sport series 10-15kg matched to a 850 ss spinfisher - feels very balanced. I saw the stand up at the boat show and was very impressed with it

    Cheers

Splash , I Have Also Got A T-curve Deep Jig 200 Matched Up To A Torium 20 With 50 Lb Braid With I Use For A Bit Of Light Jigging. We Have Found That The Gforce Rods Are Really Good With Mono Were As The T-curve Deep Jig 200 Works Good With Braid Wich Is What It Was Designed For.

Splash, Penn Mariner plus rod with roller tip 24kg, 5'6" works a treat with mine. I use 50lb braid. Bottom bash and troll although I use a long mono leader to absorb some of the strike shock when trolling. Make sure you have or get the rod clamp.
