i just wanna be able to open the top and reach in and grab em, I hate untangling muddys from the string ones, plus they are a bit more robust.

yer just be carefull were you put them in i had 4 knocked off today from cabbage trea point i would not buy expensive pots im thinking i might just use dillies from now on there are so many #######s out there these days and they were brand new from BCF on wednesday 40 bucks down the shute including the boys i will onlly use old oil bottles from now on as well
I can understand why some blokes arent using floats.
they mark em on the gps and recover with a graple.
I supose its fine If you can see um.
where do thes B@$&!$ds come from.......
Wouldnt you like to be waiting for em with diving gear on when they come for your pots.
While your buddy was unscrewing the bungs at the stern you could give a good hard yank one the rope as they are pulling up........ with a bit of luck they would be in the drink
cheers
A fellow at Redland Bay makes them $30 last time I saw them a couple of weeks ago.
Use a carwash sponge, it floats so you can see it if you are close, but not enough for the scum to spot them cruising up a river. So long as it is labelled too, you should also get away with the 'float' being legal. I watched some guys dropping pots here in coffs using them, was an awesome idea I though!
