Is there a book "Advanced Custom Rod Thread Art" by Dale Clemens? I seem to remember seeing one years ago but not sure. Also how many books of his are there on the market? Bill

I bought one as a gift for a friend about 15 yrs ago from Boat Books in Brisbane city. If anyone will have a copy it would probably be them.

Do you mean Advanced Custom Rod Building?

there is a Custom Rod Thread Art also. Anyway, I have those two.

I paid $100 for both second hand a few years ago, both in very good condition, so i hope that is a guide for you, maybe you dould do a little better.

They really are the bibles of rod building and all that goes with it, so grab them if you can.

Thanks Jack & Roz. I have "Fibreglass Rod Building", "Advanced Custom Rod Building" & "Custom Rod Thread Art". As I said think there is the fourth book & want to complete the series if that is all there is. Mine have been acquired over the last 20 years & treated as bibles for my rod building. Don't do much anymore but would like to complete the series & know if there are any more books he wrote. Bill

Thanks all. Seems there is only the 3 books plus the latest edition. The local library only has a couple of hundred books & most technical ones are on gem mining & cutting. Little water so no fishing. Will look further next time I am in civilisation. Bill
