Hey all, heading up to Fraser Island for the annual family holiday on the school hols 22 - 29 September. Staying at a house in Eurong with another familly and will be sinking plenty of beers in between early morning fishing trips and long days on the beach, creeks and lakes with the kids with a late afternoon fish before hitting the turps again at night.
Hopefully that wild weather has scoured out some nice gutters in the beach and the rain flattened and hardend the tracks, the only real prob that I forsee is the next weeks forecast on seabreeze show lots of Norwesters which experience shows seems to be the catalyst for the algae blooms which sees mountains of weed washed up on the beaches. 5 years we have been going to Fraser for the September school hols and 5 years we have been plagued by the weed.
Anyway if you see a silver pathfinder with a roofbasket and a car full of kids say gidday and I always have a couple of coldies in the back to share, so you can tell me where the fish are and where the weed isn't.
