One reason I would choose the e-tec over any of the other DFI 2 strokes is that they dont have a belt. As best as I know, all the others do and murphy travels with me a fair bit. I know the same applies to four strokes and I own one of them so maybe I'm my own worst enemy but it may be a point to consider.
