    tweaking lures

    hey,

just after some info on how people tweak their lures to better them, mainly im after info for small lures like strike pro pygmys and kokoda sprogs, have heard alot of reports that about 1 in 3 pygmys need to be tuned so they will swim better.
i know most people change the trebles and im no different but what else can you do, ive also heard of people taking the split ring off the bib so it will float.

    Re: tweaking lures

I had a lively lure (I think) tiny lure that worked a wonder but only seemed to go down a foot or so...I added a small split shot just above where I tied it on and it dived deeper and still works like a charm...helped get me some yellow-tail pike when over at straddie, they would not touch it up close to the surface.
