    Trojan Deep Cycle Battery

    Anyone purchased a 130 A/H trojan battery latelly,There prices have sky rocketed...I paid $400 cash for one today,After purchasing it i rang a few other battery places to make sure i hadnt been shafted and they wanted around $493.I hope this battery lasts me for years as i dont wanna have to buy another one any time soon.

    Yeah mate the Trojan website has heaps of info on how to look after the battery,I made sure i saved it in my favourites to have a good read

    sh*t ! I have 2 of them to power my 24v electric, I'm sure I only paid about 500 for both about 4yrs ago.

    Damn good batteries though. mine are still going well

    I have 2 of them one in the 4wd and one in the boat if your talking about the 12 volt version i paid half of that.I am pretty sure mine are a trogan deep cycle 135 amp hour though.

    Tim ... sounds high dude ......... $250 (135amp) seem right! ..... While the trojan is about the best in a wet cell ....... I only paid $350 for a much better Absorbed power AGM ..... Nagg

    My mates said that it seemed dear too..But after some calls to other battery shops they wanted close to $500,I got told that trojan has raised the price on there batteries 5 times this year.

    130amp @ $278 & 250amp @ $418.00 ... While they are in Melb . they deliver nationally
    or www.solazone.com.au 130amp @ $298.00 ... they are on the Sunshine coast

    PS ..... I found that the chain battery stores as the worst place to buy batteries (expensive)

    I paid around $800 for two 200 amp hour trojan deep cycle for my solar power system on the house about 3 years ago, i just put a few more panels on the roof, these batteries will not hold the power generated so had to buy bigger batteries to cope with the extra load, $2000 dollars later .................................bloody hell , diddnt think of that outcome before i got the new panels .

    Ahh well im not to concerned about the price i paid as long as my battery works good,Plus i got plenty of cash to burn

    Check out Turbo Batteries at Brendale. I'm sure i paid less than half that price a yr ago for my 150ah.

    Tim, thats less money for plastics. i would take it back and ask for a refund and get another one cheaper?????.

    Your job must be paying real well, looks like i gotta fine another job, as i don't get paid near enough.

    I brought a secondhand n70 for a spare $40, great battery

    tunaticer-They were alot cheaper a year ago...One of my mates got the same battery as me for around $280 a year ago

    bastard-I never asked for a price in my post,I was just letting everyone know that the trojans prices have increased

    timddo-The same day i got the trojan i also picked up a new N70 as my crank battery,I dont really need any more plastics either i have to many as it is
