sh*t ! I have 2 of them to power my 24v electric, I'm sure I only paid about 500 for both about 4yrs ago.
Damn good batteries though. mine are still going well
I have 2 of them one in the 4wd and one in the boat if your talking about the 12 volt version i paid half of that.I am pretty sure mine are a trogan deep cycle 135 amp hour though.
Tim ..... Your gunna spew .... check out www.renewablestore.com.au
130amp @ $278 & 250amp @ $418.00 ... While they are in Melb . they deliver nationally
or www.solazone.com.au 130amp @ $298.00 ... they are on the Sunshine coast
Sorry for that bad news ..... Nagg
PS ..... I found that the chain battery stores as the worst place to buy batteries (expensive)

I paid around $800 for two 200 amp hour trojan deep cycle for my solar power system on the house about 3 years ago, i just put a few more panels on the roof, these batteries will not hold the power generated so had to buy bigger batteries to cope with the extra load, $2000 dollars later .................................bloody hell , diddnt think of that outcome before i got the new panels .

Sorry Tim.
Check out Turbo Batteries at Brendale. I'm sure i paid less than half that price a yr ago for my 150ah.

Tim, thats less money for plastics. i would take it back and ask for a refund and get another one cheaper?????.
Your job must be paying real well, looks like i gotta fine another job, as i don't get paid near enough.
I brought a secondhand n70 for a spare $40, great battery
tunaticer-They were alot cheaper a year ago...One of my mates got the same battery as me for around $280 a year ago
bastard-I never asked for a price in my post,I was just letting everyone know that the trojans prices have increased
timddo-The same day i got the trojan i also picked up a new N70 as my crank battery,I dont really need any more plastics either i have to many as it is
