Brissie Land Based Locations?
Hey all, fairly newb to fishing.
Just wanting to know some half decent land based fishing spots in and around Brisbane (and out near Moreton Bay). Just anywhere with half a chance of catching something, and semi-clear water
Went for a few casts on Logan River near Waterford and Beenleigh today but didn't even get one nibble. Water was dark and murky so probably didn't help.
Any help appreciated.

the shore around scarbrough and redcliffe should see you land a bream flathead or whiting with even the chance of a squire. run your sinker straight to the hook as it is rocky bottom

Thanks loophole. Was there two days ago actually. Threw a line in on the south side of the car bridge but only toads biting
Will try some other spot there next time.
Looking moreso for southside/redland bay type locations
Thanks

the rock wall at manly is popular, as is the jetty at wellington point.
You could also try the rock wall/passage at the Whyte island boat ramp

Try in the river. Get your refidex out and try anywhere you can find access to the river between the gateway bridge & the mouth. Its most all a rocky bank from there right through. They pull some nice fish out of the river and don't worry too much about finding clear water.

Hey baitthrower, use the search feature on this site, key in brisbane landbased spots. There have been several threads on this topic in the last year or so. As well as the refidex, i also used google earth to look for spots, but some of those pics are a few years old. Good luck!

G'day Baithrower, If you are prepared to travel to the northern end of the Goldie of a nightime I have had reasonable success on Jabiru Island, under the bridge and along the wall on the northern side. If you have a cast net some nice lives sometimes gather in the area where the moorings are. Weekends seem to be a waste of time due to traffic. Good luck
