Just bought a brand new Lowrance LMS-527 gps-sounder 2 in one at the boat show.
When I bought it they told me I had to pay an extra $250 for the local maps and $360 to get the Australia wide maps, the map came on a small sd memory chip that goes into the monitor.
Over time maps change, will I have to buy a new card when they do or since they are standard sd cards would there be a way to update them over the net.
